Our Priority is Safety

Haymes Brothers, Inc has made creating a safe working environment a priority for all our employees, subcontractors, and clients. Using the latest safety management tools and equipment we ensure that we are equipped to maintain a safe jobsite. We have made a commitment to ourselves to creating a safety culture that puts the safety of the employee first.  We fulfill this commitment with Haymes Brothers core values of Service, Integrity, and Respect, and believe in building the future and preserving the past together, and safely seeing our employees go home to their families each day.

“It’s not just about being safe, it’s about thinking safe. Having a safety mindset can be the difference between completing the task or having an accident. We tell all of our employees if they see something, say something.  When we think safe, we are successful. That safety mindset is inspired from our ownership, established with our management, and instilled in our employees at the beginning of their career with us.”

Site Specific Safety

We create a Site-Specific Safety Plan for all of our jobs because we know each job requires attention to detail in safety. Followed by the Site-Specific Safety Plan, every week on the job we start by completing a Pre-Task Plan and Hazard identification that we go over with our employees, and they sign off on. Throughout the week, this Pre-Task Plan is re-visited every morning and adjustments are made as is needed. By planning safety in this way, we are better prepared to eliminate hazards on the job and get our employees into a safety mindset.
